please allow me to track back to wednesday's class outing.
even though there had only been 6 people- cheryl, jess, me, reubs, willy & habib, we had a helluva fun. we wanted to go settlers cafe but it was fully booked till 5.30pm, so we headed to clarke quay to have our lunch first as cheryl was nearly dying from hunger[there's no such words as 'full' or 'satiated' or 'bloated' in her dictionary actually]. Hooters it was and the waitresses wore sleeveless tight-fitted white tops and a sexy super-short shorts. woo-la-la. all of us except cheryl had set lunches. mine was really deli! satisfied.
then i recalled a mind cafe somewhere in (a)clarke quay or (b)boat quay and so began the search for The Mind Cafe. we saw a whole list of restaurants in clarke quay and didnt find it so we walked further down to boat quay and TA-DAH! found it tucked neatly along the rows and rows of shops along singapore river.
luckily for us, it wasnt crowded at all. the furniture were all nice and the ambience was cosy. so much nicer than the settlers cafe at holland v!
first game up was saboteurs. they loved it just like i did! fun fun FUN. then cheryl had to leave first. so left 5 of us. we played quite a few of reaction games and habib certainly was the entertainer of The day. his reaction was damn damn wols!!we left around 6pm and bumped into our ex biology teacher charis lee. so coincidental.lectures so far were all alright.Statistics & Quantitative Methods- prof was an indian with a super heavy accent and most of us were drowned in his monotonous talks. foutunately, he had an ounce of humour and made the whole lecture, consisting of stats and the likes, slightly more tolerable.Principles of Economics- a female Dr. whatever was quirky and witty and i understood most parts of the lecture. clap.clap.clap since that was the first time ever i attended an econs lect and i could follow quite closely. finally i know what the demand&supply graph is all about!Organisational Behaviour & Design- her big name was Dr. Lai Si Tsui-Auch and she warned us before-hand that her 'Auch' wasnt to be pronounced as 'Ouch'. that really tickled the audience. anws fel suspected her to be a hongkonger. her last name came about as she married a german. interesting lect once again since we were shown a video for around 20min.Marketing- alright this was the most enjoyable lect of all cuz the guy spent 1 hour talking crap! haha not exactly crap but stuff about the other profs and scoring in marketing. hey it was really interesting as he did used words like 'idiot' and 'bullshit'. apparently he didnt give any shit to using those words.meeting ade later for the fireworks display!
